About Me

With over 25 years of experience as a private mathematics tutor, I have supported students at every stage — from 11+ and GCSE to A-level and first-year university.  My teaching background includes small-group supervisions in the Mathematics Department at the University of Warwick, and Easter revision courses for GCSE and A-level students at Mander Portman Woodward (MPW).

Academically, I hold five quantitative degrees, including qualifications in mathematics and theoretical physics from Cambridge, Imperial College, and Warwick.  I am currently also pursuing a part-time Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bath.

As well as teaching, my work experience includes highly quantitative roles in finance at a top global hedge fund and a quantitative finance start-up. These roles demanded both rigorous mathematical insight and exceptional precision — qualities I bring to my tutoring practice.

For added peace of mind, I hold an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate through my work with MPW London, ensuring that every tutee can learn in a safe and professional environment.
